Welcome to February, which is the month of love. What better time to focus on loving ourselves?
In order for any intimate relationship to grow, we need first to establish trust. Yet, when it comes to trusting ourselves and our body to release weight, we often run up against many barriers: distrust, evidence of past failures, little belief in our body’s ability to actually lose weight.
This month’s hypnosis session (see above), weekly coaching sessions and classes will focus on getting you to build trust in yourself and believing in you and your body’s ability to release weight when you communicate with yourself in a more loving and trusting way.

BUILDING TRUST 1-2-3
Crossing something off your list is one of life’s unspoken pleasures. The sense of accomplishment and the reinforcement of one’s feeling of confidence in our ability to do what we say we are going to do is undeniable.
Yet, when we struggle with our weight, we seem to set very high tasks for ourselves - ones that overwhelm us and cause us to not follow through. We then feel bad about ourselves and distrust our ability to be successful in the long run.
HOW DISTRUST STARTS
Here are some expectations that many people who struggle might set for themselves:

WOULD YOU NOT SHOW UP FOR A FRIEND?
One of the quickest ways to distrust yourself is not to follow through on what you say you are going to do. Think about if your friend didn’t do the things for you that they promised. That friendship might quickly be toast (the non-bread kind of course).
Wouldn’t it figure then that your friendship with yourself, the most important relationship that you have, is worth keeping?
Better yet, wouldn’t you love to create a trusting and confident relationship with yourself?
HOMEWORK: BUILD TRUST IN YOUR WEIGHT MASTERY
Let's focus this week on setting weight release goals that you can follow through on. Every time you show yourself that you can accomplish your goal it will be like putting more money in your WEIGHT MASTERY SUCCESS bank account.
Instead of big unrealistic goals, set goals that you know you can accomplish.
I will exercise every day for an hour - no kidding!
SHIFTS INTO
I will move my body at least 30 minutes 4 days this week.
I am going to lose 2 pounds this week (which means I will have to eat under 1200 calories a day)
SHIFTS INTO
I will focus on releasing a pound this week (which allows me 1450 per day and seems very realistic) and if I end up exercising more I may release more.
I am going to banish all sugar from my diet totally

I will focus on eliminating most refined carbs and focus on giving myself a low sugar treat or a piece of fruit instead.
See how showing up for yourself, by not only accomplishing your goals, but by setting up more loving and achievable goals, begins to ignite the spark of self-trust and love.
